Morocco and Comoros Strengthen Diplomatic Ties through High-Level Meeting
On June 23, 2025, in Rabat, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held a meeting with Mbae Mohamed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of the Comoros.
During this visit, Mbae Mohamed delivered a written message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI on behalf of the President of the Union of the Comoros.
The bilateral discussions covered a range of issues of mutual interest, further deepening the friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations.
Mbae Mohamed reaffirmed his country’s consistent support for Morocco’s autonomy initiative, recognizing it as the only credible, realistic, and serious solution to the regional dispute concerning the Moroccan Sahara.
This diplomatic engagement underscores the strong fraternal ties between Morocco and the Union of the Comoros, as well as the alignment of their positions on various regional and continental matters.
