Mehdi Yaroub elected new President of the Moroccan Advertisers Group (GAM)

Casablanca, November 4, 2025 — The Moroccan Advertisers Group (GAM) has elected its new Executive Board following its Ordinary Elective General Assembly, held on Monday, October 6, 2025, in Casablanca.

Mehdi Yaroub, Marketing Director of Renault, was unanimously elected President of GAM, succeeding Youssef Cheikhi, who led the organization over the past three years.

A Board Reflecting Market Diversity

The General Assembly also elected eight new members to the Executive Board, representing a broad range of key industries and companies across Morocco’s economic landscape:

  • Samya Elkyas, Marketing & Communication Director – ATLANTA SANAD – Vice President
  • Soufiane Alkhatiri, Strategy & Growth Director – CENTRALE DANONE – Vice President
  • Kenza Ouali, Marketing Director – LES DOMAINES AGRICOLES – Secretary General
  • Younes Okba, Media & Partnerships Director – INWI – Treasurer General
  • Abdellatif Lhouaoui, Director of Communication & Cooperation – ANP – Deputy Treasurer
  • Fadoua Damiri, Deputy Marketing Director for Communication & Media – MARJANE HOLDING – Assessor
  • Fatima Zahra El Jai, Marketing Director – ARADEI CAPITAL – Assessor
  • Youssef Elfechtali, Communication & Public Relations Director – AFRICORP – Assessor

The Assembly also named Mounir Jazouli and Youssef Cheikhi, both former GAM Presidents, as Honorary Members, in recognition of their contribution to advancing marketing and communication in Morocco.

Acknowledging the Previous Mandate

Members paid tribute to the outgoing board’s notable achievements, highlighting initiatives that strengthened collaboration, regulation, and professionalization across Morocco’s marketing, communication, digital, and media sectors.

In his address, Mehdi Yaroub expressed his ambition to continue this positive momentum:

“Over the years, GAM has successfully brought advertisers together around a shared vision of responsible, innovative, and high-performing communication. Building on this legacy, we aim to strengthen synergies, support ecosystem transformation, and reinforce Morocco’s position as a regional hub of excellence in marketing and communication.”
