Kénitra Hammouchi presents royal decorations to police institution members

The Royal Police Institute in Kénitra hosted a distinguished ceremony on Saturday to honor serving and retired police officers who received Royal Decorations graciously bestowed by King Mohammed VI.

During the event, Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, presented Royal Decorations to 353 police officers both men and women working in various central and regional departments of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

In his speech, Hammouchi emphasized that this event was a respectful tribute to the deep Royal care extended by His Majesty King Mohammed VI towards the National Security family. This recognition honors the dedication, loyalty, and selflessness demonstrated by police officers in serving the public interest.

He explained that the DGSN deliberately organized this collective decoration ceremony at the Royal Police Institute to strengthen the bond with its officers, celebrate the honor, and ensure that the recipients remember this moment as a symbol of Royal esteem.

Hammouchi also noted that these Royal Decorations mark the professional maturity of the awardees and come with added responsibility. Recipients are encouraged to mentor and train younger generations, both professionally and intellectually, to build future security capabilities.

Finally, the Director General urged the honored officers to live up to the high expectations associated with this Royal Distinction and fulfill King Mohammed VI’s vision of safeguarding the safety of the nation’s loyal citizens.
