Empowering Moroccan Youth: Rabat Networking Days Illuminate Paths Forward

Rabat, Morocco - The Rabat Networking Days (RND) event's second day underscored the organization's dedication to fostering inclusion and empowerment among Moroccan youth. Students from all corners of the country convened in the capital on Saturday for engaging discussions and networking opportunities designed to illuminate their future paths.

The event served as a platform connecting graduating students with experts across diverse fields to exchange knowledge and experiences. This year's RND unfolded across various locations in Rabat, including the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Agency for Digital Development, the Canadian and Irish Embassies, and the Moroccan company Altwork.

At the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, students delved into the pressing issue of climate change and Morocco's recent struggles with drought, exploring the theme "Energy Security and Climate Change." Hamza Saidi, Project Manager at the Foundation, emphasized, "Climate change presents an opportunity for Morocco to invest in renewable energy."

Staff members shared encouragement, drawing from their own student experiences to motivate those on the cusp of graduation. Attendees also seized the chance to articulate their desires and expectations for future internships and career opportunities, receiving enthusiastic responses from the Foundation.

Later, groups of students gathered at the Marriott Hotel to further their networking endeavors. Participants departed impressed by the insightful discussions and opportunities to expand their professional networks. Buoyed by the event's success, students anticipate that future editions of RND will continue to offer a vibrant environment for sharing expertise, learning, and building valuable connections.
