As the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha approaches, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless travel experience for citizens across the Kingdom. In a proactive move, Mohamed Abdeljalil, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, affirmed on Monday in Rabat that his department is actively preparing for the annual surge in passenger transportation during the Eid festivities.

Abdeljalil underscored the ministry's commitment to providing additional transportation means to meet the anticipated high demand during this period, characterized by a significant increase in travel and an exceptional influx of commuters on public transport. Responding to an oral question in the House of Representatives, the minister outlined the measures taken to ensure the safety and security of travelers, including the mechanical inspection of additional buses and the reinforcement of control operations for public transport buses by relevant authorities across the road network.

Furthermore, the ministry is facilitating travel by granting simplified exceptional licenses for Eid journeys, marking a substantial increase compared to previous years. Additionally, proactive steps are being taken to counter any unauthorized price hikes beyond the established fare limits, safeguarding travelers from potential exploitation.
