Anthropic revenue tops $30 billion as tpu deal expands capacity
Anthropic said its annualized revenue has surpassed $30 billion, marking a sharp acceleration from about $9 billion at the end of 2025 and roughly $19 billion in late February. The company also reported that the number of enterprise clients spending more than $1 million annually has doubled to over 1,000.
The milestone comes alongside a major infrastructure agreement involving Broadcom and Google. In a regulatory filing, Broadcom disclosed a long-term deal with Google to develop and supply custom tensor processing units, or TPUs, through 2031. As part of an expanded three-way collaboration, Anthropic will gain access to around 3.5 gigawatts of next-generation AI compute capacity based on these chips starting in 2027.
Anthropic’s revenue trajectory has accelerated over the past year. The company generated about $1 billion in annualized revenue in December 2024, rose to $4 billion by July 2025, and reached $14 billion by mid-February 2026 following a $30 billion Series G funding round that valued the company at $380 billion. By early March, the figure had climbed to $19 billion before reaching the latest level.
Growth has been driven in part by Claude Code, an agent-based coding assistant that reached $2.5 billion in annualized revenue in February. Enterprise clients account for about 80 percent of Anthropic’s business, with eight of the ten largest Fortune companies using its tools.
The Broadcom filing outlines supply guarantees for networking components and infrastructure supporting Google’s next-generation AI racks. The agreement builds on an October 2025 partnership in which Anthropic committed to deploying up to one million TPUs and expanding its use of Google cloud services under a deal described as worth tens of billions of dollars.
Broadcom had earlier indicated that Anthropic was the unnamed customer behind a $21 billion custom chip order disclosed in late 2025. The new agreement extends those commitments, with access to additional compute capacity tied to Anthropic’s continued commercial performance.
The developments come as Anthropic prepares for a potential public listing. Reports indicate that Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley are in early discussions to support an initial public offering that could take place as soon as October 2026. Since its founding in 2021, Anthropic has raised close to $64 billion and projects up to $55 billion in revenue by 2027.
