Air France extends suspension of Middle East flights amid regional conflict
Air France has announced an extension of its flight suspensions to several Middle Eastern destinations in response to ongoing regional conflict. Flights to Dubai and Riyadh will remain suspended until at least Tuesday, with some Dubai departures affected through Wednesday. Services to Tel Aviv and Beirut are also suspended until at least Wednesday.
Safety assessment governs flight resumption
The airline emphasized that resumption of operations will depend on continuous assessment of the security situation, which remains highly volatile. Air France clarified that these suspensions affect only commercial flights, and do not apply to special repatriation flights organized by French diplomatic authorities.
The company’s decision reflects ongoing caution in light of heightened tensions in the Middle East, ensuring passenger safety and operational security remain priorities during the evolving situation.
