Entrepreneurs appreciate the ongoing support of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the Palestinian people
Young Palestinian entrepreneurs benefiting from the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif project incubation program for innovation and creativity expressed their deep gratitude for the unwavering support of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Qods Committee, towards the Palestinian people.
These young project leaders praised the Kingdom’s development momentum in various sectors during their participation in the 2025 edition of the "GITEX Africa" exhibition. The Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency emphasized the Kingdom's remarkable presence in Al Qods, both historically and symbolically, especially for its residents. They also highlighted the solidarity shown by Moroccan society towards the Palestinian people in all circumstances.
The Palestinian delegation concluded their participation in "GITEX Africa" in Marrakech with a visit to the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) project incubator in Benguerir, as well as the innovation and creativity incubator run by the Agency. The group included representatives from six start-ups currently benefiting from the Agency’s incubation program, funded by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform, along with members from Al-Qods University and the Palestine Bank.
The visit to UM6P allowed the delegation to explore its innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and discuss the potential for future collaboration with Palestinian institutions to support sustainable development and youth empowerment, in the presence of UM6P President, Hicham El Habti.
Additionally, the delegation learned about various programs and projects conducted in Al Qods through the Agency’s innovation incubator, launched last year under its 2024-2027 digital strategy, which has already supported thirteen young companies. Each cohort receives intensive guidance and training over more than 160 hours of interactive workshops focused on entrepreneurship and innovation over five months, before the most successful projects are presented at annual exhibitions such as "GITEX Africa – Morocco" and "Expand North Star" in Dubai.
The Arab Parliament also commended King Mohammed VI's unwavering efforts to defend the Palestinian cause during its plenary session in Baghdad. The Parliament emphasized the continued action of the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency in preserving the legal status and identity of the Holy City and supporting its residents.
The Arab Parliament called for the resolution of the Palestinian issue to ensure peace, security, and stability in the region and urged the international and UN bodies to fulfill their responsibilities in fostering peace in the Middle East.
