Morocco and France explore advancements in higher education collaboration
Azzedine El Midaoui, Morocco's Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, met with his French counterpart, Philippe Baptiste, in Paris to discuss ongoing cooperation between the two countries in higher education and scientific research.
This meeting occurred on the margins of El Midaoui's participation in the global ministerial dialogue on science diplomacy at UNESCO on Wednesday. The discussions focused on the progress of the bilateral cooperation agreement signed during French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Morocco in October. The conversation also addressed the technical assistance provided to Morocco's university reform efforts, including the implementation of a dedicated information system for this initiative.
The cooperation agreement between Morocco and France covers key areas such as university education, scientific collaboration, and governance.
