Rabat launches 41 million dirham underground parking project
As part of efforts to improve infrastructure and streamline traffic flow in Rabat, a budget of 41 million dirhams has been allocated for the redevelopment of Dades Street and Raba’a Al-Adawiya Square. This project includes the construction of a modern underground parking garage to meet the needs of the growing city.
The main goal of this initiative is to enhance the urban environment around Dades Street and Raba’a Al-Adawiya Square by improving road conditions and public spaces. The underground parking facility will alleviate parking difficulties and improve traffic flow in the area.
The project encompasses several key components, including:
- Dades Street redevelopment: This involves repaving the road, upgrading sidewalks, and improving street lighting.
- Raba’a Al-Adawiya Square revitalization: This includes renewing green spaces and adding new amenities for pedestrians.
- Underground parking construction: The new parking garage will offer a significant number of parking spaces, helping to reduce traffic congestion and enhance the experience for both residents and tourists.
According to project officials, the works are expected to be completed within four months, demonstrating the local authorities’ commitment to rapid execution and modern standards.
This project is part of a broader plan to modernize Rabat’s infrastructure, aimed at increasing the city’s appeal and improving the quality of life for its residents and visitors.
