Les Impériales: Record-Breaking Participation Marks the Start of Advertising's Premier Event
The seventh annual Les Impériales event, the advertising and communications industry's largest competition, kicked off this week with an unprecedented surge in participation from across the sector. Anouar Sabri, the event president, highlighted the remarkable enthusiasm surrounding this year's installment, as a record-high of 275 advertising and communication campaigns vie for the coveted Les Étoiles awards.
"Attracting 275 campaigns, this edition stands out as the biggest yet," Anouar Sabri announced at the opening ceremony in Casablanca. He extended his gratitude to all the companies that have placed their trust in Les Impériales and encouraged robust attendance at the Carré d’Or venue, where the week-long festivities are being hosted.
Industry professionals have been closely monitoring the 275 nominated campaigns, anticipating a fierce competition between companies, advertising agencies, and communication firms for the prestigious prizes.
The "Showreel" gala held on Monday evening at Megarama Casablanca provided attendees with a first look at all the contending campaigns. Similar to previous years, Megarama showcased exhibitions of the work across eight categories and 39 subcategories, celebrating excellence in advertising execution.
In the coming days, anticipation will continue to build towards the final award ceremony, where Les Impériales' jury will honor the very best communication and advertising efforts of the past year.
