After visiting Madrid, Montpellier, and Düsseldorf, the traveling exhibition "Al Omrane Expo Marocains du Monde" arrived in Amsterdam from October 18 to 20, 2024. Organized by the Al Omrane Group under the aegis of the Ministry of National Territorial Development, Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy, this event aligns with the Kingdom's efforts to strengthen ties with Moroccans living abroad (MRE). The exhibition aims to inform, listen to, and meet the needs of the diaspora, which plays a crucial role in Morocco's economic development.

A Traveling Exhibition to Strengthen Ties with MRE

"Al Omrane Expo Marocains du Monde" is a platform for dialogue and proximity, designed to strengthen relationships with the over one million Moroccans living across four continents. Since its inception, this event has created a bridge between Morocco and its nationals abroad, offering them the opportunity to explore the latest real estate projects, including apartments, plots of land, or commercial properties. The direct contact between Al Omrane and the diaspora helps to tailor the offers to the aspirations of the MRE, taking into account their specific needs.

Clear Objectives: Support and Information

Through this tour, Al Omrane Group seeks to directly meet Moroccans abroad to inform them about the latest developments in housing and real estate investment. This exhibition provides an ideal opportunity to showcase specific projects and address questions related to property acquisition in Morocco. In addition to providing practical information about ongoing projects, the goal is to assist MREs in their investment process by simplifying access to information and offering tailored solutions to their needs.

Housing Reforms and Support for Moroccans Abroad

A key component of this exhibition is the emphasis on the major housing sector reforms in Morocco. These reforms, initiated under the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aim to address the growing housing challenges while improving citizens' living conditions. The recently launched direct housing support program embodies this effort and provides Moroccans abroad with easier access to property.

During the conference in Amsterdam, Mr. Housni El Ghazaoui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Omrane Group, highlighted that the group, as a public instrument for implementing government policies, is fully committed to improving the services offered to citizens, notably through digital transformation initiatives. Among these innovations is the digital platform (www.alomrane.gov.ma), which allows Moroccans, wherever they are, to access updated information about available real estate projects.

A New Digital Era to Better Serve MREs

The digital transformation is a crucial aspect of Al Omrane's strategy. During the event, Mr. El Ghazaoui announced the launch of the "AlOmraneAssist" platform, a tool dedicated to Moroccans abroad, enabling them to monitor the progress of their real estate projects remotely. This innovative solution, part of the group's modernization efforts, facilitates access to information and services while ensuring real-time tracking of transactions. This platform is designed to simplify the experience of MREs in their investments in Morocco, providing them with an intuitive and transparent interface.

A Successful International Tour

Since its launch in May 2024, "Al Omrane Expo Marocains du Monde" has already seen significant success during its previous stops in Madrid, Montpellier, and Düsseldorf. The next leg of the tour will be in Montreal from November 8 to 10, 2024, before concluding in Bologna, Italy, from December 6 to 8, 2024. At each stop, the exhibition strengthens proximity ties with MREs by offering them concrete investment opportunities in Morocco while addressing their specific housing needs.
