Ghizlane Chebbak reaches 100 international appearances for Morocco

Ghizlane Chebbak has reached a historic milestone in Moroccan football after making her 100th appearance for the Morocco women's national team, becoming the first female player from the country to achieve the landmark.

The achievement was celebrated by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, with its president presenting Chebbak with a commemorative jersey in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the national team. The ceremony highlighted her long-standing commitment and leadership, which have played a significant role in the development of women's football in Morocco.

At 35, Chebbak remains one of the most influential figures in African football. Throughout her international career, she has helped guide the Atlas Lionesses to major continental and global competitions while inspiring a new generation of female footballers. Her experience at both club and international level has established her as one of Morocco's most accomplished athletes.

Chebbak has also enjoyed an impressive club career, winning domestic titles and gaining valuable professional experience abroad. Her performances earned her the prestigious African Women's Player of the Year award in 2025, further strengthening her reputation as one of the continent's elite players.

As Morocco continues to invest in women's football, Chebbak's milestone reflects the rapid progress of the sport in the country. Her leadership and consistency remain vital as the national team pursues future continental success and aims to strengthen its position among the world's leading women's football nations.
