Francis Jespers named CEO of Allianz Trade Maroc

Allianz Trade has appointed Francis Jespers as CEO for Morocco effective March 1, 2026. He succeeds Stéphane Rutili, who is retiring after a distinguished career with the group.

Jespers currently serves as Program Director for Northern Europe at Allianz Trade. He brings over 30 years of international experience within the company. He joined in 1990 as a Sales Account Manager and later led operations as CEO in Belgium, the Netherlands and Central and Eastern Europe.

Throughout his career, Jespers built a reputation for boosting commercial performance, strengthening governance and managing multicultural teams in complex markets. He holds a Master’s in Law from Catholic University of Louvain and speaks Dutch, French, English and German fluently.

Jespers will be based in Casablanca and report directly to Luca Burrafato, CEO of Allianz Trade for the MMEA region.

Burrafato welcomed Jespers, citing his deep company knowledge, global leadership experience and proven change management record as ideal for leading Moroccan operations and expanding regional presence. He thanked Rutili for his long service and wished him a well-deserved retirement.
