Casablanca hosts showreel 2026, kickoff of les impériales week

In Casablanca, the communication ecosystem is preparing for one of its major annual highlights with the opening of Les Impériales Week 2026. Today, the Megarama Casablanca hosts the Showreel, an inaugural sequence that has become strategic for analyzing the evolution of the advertising sector in Morocco.

Designed as a visual synthesis of the past year, this format brings together the campaigns competing for the “Les Étoiles” Awards, a distinction that has, over the years, established itself as a benchmark in the industry. Beyond the screening, the Showreel serves as a collective analytical tool, offering professionals a transversal reading of creative trends, narrative approaches, and strategic choices that shaped 2025.

The 2026 edition stands out with an unprecedented level of participation. A total of 385 entries have been recorded, covering 224 campaigns led by 107 brands. These projects come from a wide range of stakeholders, including agencies and advertisers, confirming the vitality of a market in constant transformation.

Beyond the numbers, it is the sector’s transformation that emerges. The Showreel highlights an evolution in practices, where communication is no longer limited to visibility but is part of broader dynamics of influence, brand ecosystems, and integrated performance. This shift reflects the growing maturity of the Moroccan market, now aligned with international standards while maintaining its unique identity.

The event also retains a participatory dimension. Attending professionals will have the opportunity to vote for the showcased campaigns through a dedicated system, reinforcing collective involvement in the selection process. This mechanism further strengthens the legitimacy of the “Les Étoiles” Awards, whose winners will be announced during the gala ceremony at the end of the event.

Organized from March 30 to April 5, 2026, the 9th edition of Les Impériales Week aims to go beyond a simple event format and establish itself as a platform for reflection and forward-thinking. Through conferences, workshops, and professional meetings, it confirms the structuring role of communication industries in Morocco’s economic and cultural dynamics.

Within this broader framework, the Showreel stands out as a true barometer. It does not merely showcase what has been produced—it questions, compares, and above all outlines the contours of what communication will become tomorrow.
