Direct Social Aid: Rejection rate remains below 1.3% each month in 2025

The Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, announced on Monday that less than 1.3% of applications for direct social aid have been rejected each month throughout 2025.

Speaking before the House of Representatives, Fettah explained that the number of beneficiary households has reached 3.9 million, up from 2.6 million in January 2024.

According to the minister, 62% of households receive aid aimed at child protection, while one-third benefit from fixed allowances.

Regarding rejected applications, Fettah clarified that most refusals result from changes in household circumstances. She reaffirmed that this Royal strategic project is implemented within a transparent, fair, and institutional framework based on the Unified Social Registry (RSU).
