In a landmark achievement for Morocco's urban sports scene, young talent Madhi Bnamrhar has secured first place in the under-8 category at the prestigious "Youth Elite Scooter Championships." The event, organized by UK skatepark Alley Adrenaline, took place on October 6 in Corby, England.

The Royal Moroccan Federation of Urban Sports (FRMSUSS) proudly announced this groundbreaking victory, hailing it as a significant milestone for Morocco in the realm of freestyle scootering, also known as "scootjam." Bnamrhar, discovered and nurtured by the FRMSUSS, exemplifies the promising future of urban sports in the North African nation.

This triumph is not just a personal achievement for Bnamrhar but also a testament to the FRMSUSS's comprehensive strategy aimed at unearthing and fostering young Moroccan talent. The federation is committed to providing these budding athletes with opportunities to shine on the global stage.

The FRMSUSS views this victory as a catalyst to enhance the visibility of freestyle scootering within Morocco. Their statement emphasized their dedication to promoting urban sports among Moroccan youth and ensuring robust representation for the country at major international competitions.

Taking to social media, the federation expressed their pride in Bnamrhar's accomplishment: "Congratulations to our athlete Madhi Benamrhar for securing first place in the Youth Elite Scooter Championships 2024 (under 8 years). We are proud of his commitment and look forward to witnessing his continued success."

The competition featured participants from various countries, including Australia, Canada, the United States, Switzerland, France, and Italy. In a fierce contest, Alexander Rutkowski from the UK claimed second place, while Jan Schroter Alba from Spain rounded out the top three.

This victory marks a significant step forward in Morocco's efforts to establish itself in the global urban sports arena. The FRMSUSS remains committed to encouraging young athletes to participate in both national and international competitions, aiming to bolster Morocco's presence and reputation in this exciting and rapidly growing sports sector.
