Marseille: Man shot dead in the street
A man was shot and killed in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille, according to sources confirmed by BFM Marseille.
The incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on Rue de Crimée. Marseille firefighters and paramedics arrived on the scene but were unable to save the victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by the SMUR doctor.
Corinne Simon, the delegated police prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône, is present at the scene and has activated the Intervention and Support Device for Victims of Violent Actions (DISPAV).
