Unilever expands regional influence with new Moroccan headquarters
Unilever has inaugurated its new offices at Casablanca Finance City (CFC), marking a significant expansion of its presence in Morocco. This strategic move builds upon the company's century-long history in the country and demonstrates its ongoing commitment to the North African market.
The establishment of new offices at CFC, a prominent economic and financial center in Africa, underscores Unilever's confidence in Morocco's market dynamics and economic potential. The company has maintained strong ties with Moroccan consumers for nearly 100 years, integrating its products into daily household routines.
Sidi Mohamed Dinia, General Manager of Unilever Morocco, Tunisia, and Libya, emphasized the strategic importance of the new location. "The launch of our new offices at Casablanca Finance City epitomizes our enduring dedication to Morocco, a strategic market for Unilever. Our aim is to foster stronger partnerships, advance innovation, and actively contribute to a sustainable future for the region."
Cem Tarık Yüksel, Regional General Manager for North Africa, Levant, and Iraq, highlighted the broader implications of this development. He described Casablanca as more than an operational base, calling it "a launchpad for opportunities and transformative change across the North Africa, Levant, and Iraq (NALI) region." Yüksel emphasized that the new CFC office reflects their vision of positioning Morocco as a regional center for growth, innovation, and sustainability.
This investment aligns with Unilever's global objectives focused on sustainability, promoting well-being, and building a more equitable world. The company's enhanced presence in Morocco through the CFC offices represents a strategic step toward strengthening its position in North Africa while contributing to regional economic development.
