In a testament to Morocco's dedication to advancing international development, Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, is representing His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 21st Summit of the International Development Association (IDA 21) in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit, jointly organized by the Kenyan government and the World Bank Group, commenced its proceedings on Monday in the Kenyan capital.

The primary focus of the summit is to address the replenishment of IDA's resources and garner support necessary to catalyze investments effectively across the African continent. With several African heads of state and government leaders in attendance, the event aims to articulate the continent's developmental priorities to IDA donors and other partners, advocating for substantially higher levels of financing to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead for Africa's development trajectory.

Accompanying Minister Fettah Alaoui, the Moroccan delegation comprises Mohamed Tarik Bichr, Special Advisor to the Minister; Abdelmajid Mellouki, Coordinator of Relations with the World Bank Group within the Ministry of Economy and Finance; and Ambassador Abderrazzak Laassel, Morocco's Ambassador to Kenya.
