Switzerland's Support for a Just, Lasting, and Mutually Acceptable Solution to Moroccan Sahara
In a demonstration of Switzerland's unwavering stance on the long-standing dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, the President of the Swiss National Council, Eric Nussbaumer, expressed his country's support for a political solution that is fair, enduring, and mutually acceptable to all parties involved. Speaking at a press conference in Rabat on Tuesday, following talks with Nasser Bourita, Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nussbaumer's remarks carried significant weight.
Switzerland, a nation renowned for its neutrality and commitment to conflict resolution, has reaffirmed its backing for the efforts undertaken by the United Nations and its Personal Envoy for the Moroccan Sahara, Staffan de Mistura.
