Strengthening Morocco's Presence at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

To consolidate its market share and amplify Morocco's visibility as a premier travel destination, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is actively participating in the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market. This leading travel and tourism exhibition in the Middle East is being held in Dubai from May 6 to 9, 2024.

The Moroccan booth at the Arabian Travel Market was inaugurated this morning by Ahmed Tazi,, Morocco's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Adel El Fakir, the Director General of ONMT. Morocco's participation in this flagship event aims to bolster its position in the Gulf and Middle Eastern markets, recognized as high-value markets for the country's tourism industry.

The primary objective is to develop the Dubai axis, representing a market with immense potential for Morocco. The goal is to showcase the country as an attractive destination offering a diverse range of products, globally renowned hotel chains, quality services, and high-value niche offerings such as golf, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), shopping, and cultural experiences, among others.

The city of Casablanca has been spotlighted at the ONMT stand, being the primary destination for the market due to its strategic positioning as an air hub and gateway to Morocco. Professionals from Casablanca are present in force to represent their region.

Furthermore, ONMT has seized the opportunity to renew its strategic partnership with Emirates Airlines. Negotiations are also underway for the signing of a new partnership agreement with regional operators, notably WEGO Middle East.

With a touch of flair and a formal tone befitting an online publication, this article showcases Morocco's efforts to strengthen its presence in the lucrative Middle Eastern travel market. It highlights the country's diverse offerings and strategic partnerships aimed at attracting discerning travelers from the region.
