Shooting at new hampshire country club leaves one dead and two injured

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and two others injured at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, during a wedding on Saturday.

The suspect, 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau, has been arrested and faces a charge of second-degree murder. The victim, identified as 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare, was killed in the attack. Investigators said there is no known connection between the suspect and the victim, and they are still trying to determine the motive. Additional charges may be filed regarding the other victims.

Witnesses described chaotic scenes as the shooter opened fire. Tom Bartelson, whose nephew was getting married, reported hearing the gunman yell phrases such as “the children are safe” and “free Palestine” while targeting an individual. Guests reportedly ducked for cover and sought safe spots as the attack unfolded.

Authorities initially considered the possibility of multiple shooters but later confirmed there was only one. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and local officials praised police efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice.

Nashua’s Mayor Jim Donchess and US Representative Maggie Goodlander expressed condolences to the victims’ families and emphasized the importance of community safety.
