Revolut Surges to $115 Billion Valuation Following New Secondary Share Sale
British financial technology giant Revolut has reached an estimated valuation of $115 billion following the launch of a new secondary share sale, underscoring robust investor confidence in the company's rapid global expansion and digital banking trajectory.
The revised valuation marks a sharp increase of over 50 percent compared to the company’s previous secondary transaction less than a year ago, when the digital bank was valued at approximately $75 billion.
According to an internal memo cited by Bloomberg, the newly initiated liquidity event prices individual shares at $2,017. While the total transaction volume and share count have not been formally disclosed, the process allows existing staff and early equity holders to liquidate portions of their holdings.
A Revolut spokesperson confirmed the launch of the secondary sale, stating that additional operational and financial details will be made public once the transaction concludes.
A Fast-Growing Global Player
This latest milestone represents the third substantial valuation jump for Revolut over the past three years, buoyed by surging revenue, continuous product expansion, and key regulatory advances—including securing a full UK banking license and advancing its application for a banking charter in the United States.
Originally established as a multi-currency transfer app, Revolut has evolved into a comprehensive global financial platform, increasingly competing for market share against traditional commercial banks and established digital competitors. The $115 billion market cap places Revolut among the world's most valuable private technology companies as it continues to strengthen its international footprint.
