Patrick Schwarzenegger joins “The White Lotus” cast in an emotional family moment
Patrick Schwarzenegger recently shared a heartwarming moment with his family, capturing their emotional reaction as he announced his role in the latest season of The White Lotus. The actor posted the video on Instagram, revealing the joyful scene that unfolded when he broke the news.
In the clip, Schwarzenegger is seen teasing his family—his mother, Maria Shriver, and sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger—by hinting at a secret he’s been holding. Unable to contain his excitement, he finally reveals that he’s heading to Thailand to film the new season of the acclaimed series. Overcome with happiness, his family bursts into tears of joy.
A dream come true
“My entire family is obsessed with the show, and they kept telling me I had to find a way to be part of it,” Schwarzenegger wrote in the caption accompanying the video.
The upcoming season of The White Lotus is set in a wellness resort in Thailand, where Schwarzenegger will portray the entitled and insufferable eldest son of a wealthy family. The star-studded cast also includes Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey as his on-screen parents, with Sam Nivola and Sarah Catherine Hook playing his siblings.
The first episodes of the highly anticipated season have already premiered on Max, promising viewers another gripping exploration of privilege, dysfunction, and human complexity.
