Netanyahu urges Iranians to rise amid U.S.-Israel strikes
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Iranian citizens to take advantage of recent U.S.-Israel military strikes on Tehran to rise up and challenge the current regime. Speaking on Saturday, Netanyahu emphasized that the moment for action is now and urged Iranians to mobilize in the streets.
Addressing the Iranian population in Hebrew during a televised speech, Netanyahu described the situation as a unique opportunity to oppose the government that, according to him, makes life difficult for its people. He encouraged citizens not to remain passive and to actively participate in efforts to bring about political change.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, following military action by U.S. and Israeli forces. Analysts note that Netanyahu’s message could further inflame the already fragile situation in the region.
