In a display of sheer dominance, Morocco's U17 women's national team secured an emphatic 4-0 victory over their Algerian counterparts in the second leg of the World Cup qualifiers. This resounding triumph follows their equally impressive 4-0 win in the first leg, solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with on the continental stage.

The match, held at the Salem Mabrouki Stadium in Algiers, witnessed the Atlas Lionesses assert their superiority from the outset. Chaimae Boughazi etched her name on the scoresheet early, finding the back of the net in the 6th minute and setting the tone for the encounter.

As the game progressed, Morocco's onslaught continued unabated. In the second half, Lina Mokhrae Jamai doubled their lead in the 62nd minute, leaving the Algerian defense in disarray. Dina Nassira Haizoun joined the party, netting the third goal in the 76th minute, before Jamai completed her brace just three minutes later, sealing the 4-0 triumph.

This comprehensive victory over their North African rivals serves as a testament to the team's unwavering determination and the meticulous preparation orchestrated by their astute manager, Youness Rabie. The Atlas Lionesses have undoubtedly earned their place in the final round of the African qualifiers, where they will aim to secure their spot in the prestigious FIFA U17 Women's World Cup.

The teams that will represent the African continent in the global showpiece, scheduled to take place in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3, 2024, will be determined after the fourth and final qualifying round in June.

With their commanding performances thus far, Morocco's U17 women's national team has firmly established themselves as formidable contenders, sending a resounding message to their continental rivals and sparking hopes of a remarkable journey on the international stage.
