Morocco's INNOVX Launches ParkX: Pioneering Sustainable Industrial Parks for a Greener Future
INNOVX, a subsidiary of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), has unveiled its latest venture, ParkX, dedicated to the development and management of sustainable industrial parks. This innovative subsidiary aims to revolutionize the industrial landscape by incorporating circular economy principles and green technology into its projects.
ParkX's mission aligns with Morocco's growing commitment to environmental sustainability and its ambition to become a key player in the renewable energy sector. The new subsidiary will focus on creating fully equipped, ready-to-operate industrial sites designed to meet the needs of innovative and sustainable industries.
Othman El Yaalaoui, Vice President of Ecosystems & Business Development at INNOVX, emphasized the company's vision: "The future of industry lies in sustainability and innovation, and that's exactly what we are committed to delivering at ParkX. Our goal is to create tailored solutions that meet these evolving needs, establishing environments that support the growth of industrial ecosystems and enhance their energy efficiency."
Two flagship projects are already underway. The first, located in Jorf Lasfar, targets advanced industries with a particular focus on the chemical sector. The second, situated in Benguerir, aims to foster high-tech, high-value manufacturing, incorporating cutting-edge technologies in renewable energy and agritech.
ParkX's approach to sustainability goes beyond mere lip service. The subsidiary is committed to implementing circular economy principles and green technologies throughout its industrial parks. This strategy aims to boost resource efficiency, support decarbonization efforts, and improve energy performance across facilities through the use of renewable energy sources and effective waste management practices.
By launching ParkX, INNOVX reinforces its dedication to nurturing specialized industrial parks that generate long-term value for businesses and surrounding communities. This initiative is part of INNOVX's broader mission as a versatile business builder tackling global sustainability issues and promoting environmentally friendly technological advancements in Morocco.
