In a remarkable display of solidarity, Morocco has deployed six Hercules transport aircraft to deliver essential food and humanitarian supplies to the besieged Gaza Strip, joining a coalition of nations working to address the region's escalating humanitarian crisis. This compassionate initiative, spearheaded by King Mohammed VI, underscores Morocco's steadfast dedication to the Palestinian cause, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

This morning, the Royal Moroccan Air Force's Hercules aircraft, laden with lifesaving aid, departed from Morocco and are currently en route to Ben Gurion Airport for refueling. Subsequently, they will navigate the skies over northern Gaza, delivering crucial provisions to those in urgent need on the ground below.

Morocco's humanitarian intervention comes amid a deepening crisis in Gaza, with the death toll surpassing 31,000 and over 72,000 Palestinians injured due to the relentless attacks by the Israeli Occupation Forces on defenseless civilians. The looming threats of disease and starvation highlight the critical importance of delivering aid to the besieged city without delay.

In solidarity with nations like Jordan, Egypt, the United States, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, Morocco's airdrop operation symbolizes the global community's united commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people. His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as the chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has consistently advocated for a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian cause, a sentiment echoed by Morocco's Foreign Affairs Minister, Nasser Bourita, during a recent Arab League session where he reiterated the country's tangible support.

Bourita condemned the forced displacement of civilians and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities, unobstructed access to humanitarian aid, and adherence to international humanitarian law. These statements reflect Morocco's belief in the efficacy of dialogue and peaceful initiatives over military actions.

Amidst global scrutiny, Morocco's airdrop mission shines as a beacon of hope, reminding the world that even in the darkest times, the international community remains unified in its commitment to upholding the fundamental principles of human dignity and compassion.
