Senegalese Prime Minister Amadou Ba has heaped praise on Morocco, declaring the North African kingdom as Senegal's paramount partner on the international stage. Speaking to journalists in Dakar after the conclusion of the 50th Conference of the International Francophone Press Union, Ba highlighted the "age-old and unbreakable bond" between the two nations.

Ba emphasized that Morocco has consistently proven itself as an invaluable ally to Senegal across all sectors for generations. He stated that the relations between the two countries "span centuries and will endure for centuries to come." According to the prime minister, Senegalese citizens feel entirely at ease on Moroccan soil, just as Moroccans warmly receive hospitality within Senegal's borders.

The prime minister, a leading candidate in Senegal's upcoming February presidential election, underscored that cooperation between Rabat and Dakar has not only endured but has flourished in recent years. Ba noted that Moroccan investments have taken root in various sectors of Senegal's economy, including banking, insurance, and other industries. It appears that no other partner holds the same level of trust or occupies such a prominent role in Senegal's economic and diplomatic affairs as the Kingdom of Morocco.

By praising the "already excellent" alliance, Ba's remarks signify Senegal's commitment to fostering even closer collaboration with its most steadfast friend on the international stage the Kingdom of Morocco.
