King Mohammed VI Honors Late Mother in Military Officer Swearing-In Ceremony
In a poignant and ceremonious event, King Mohammed VI swore in hundreds of newly commissioned officers into the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on Wednesday. Adding a deeply personal element to the occasion, the king announced that the new officer promotion would be named in honor of his late mother, Princess Lalla Latifa, who passed away in June.
