King Mohammed VI Commands Rain Prayer for Friday
In accordance with the Supreme Order, on Friday, December 1, 2023 AD, at ten o'clock in the morning, the rain prayer will be conducted in chapels and university mosques across different regions and areas of the Kingdom. This directive comes from the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, as conveyed by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The rain prayer, ordered by King Mohammed VI, serves as a profound expression of humility and supplication to the Almighty God, seeking His benevolence to provide water for His servants and animals, and to shower His mercy upon all, as stated in a communication from the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The communication further specifies that the rain prayer will take place during Jumada al-Awwal 17, 1445 AH, in accordance with the Supreme Order, at ten o'clock in the morning, precisely in the cellar of mosques spread across different regions of the Kingdom.
