EHTP Forum 2024 Unites Moroccan Engineers for High Atlas Reconstruction

In a powerful display of resilience and solidarity, the 27th edition of the EHTP-Entreprises Forum in Casablanca has taken center stage, showcasing the innovative spirit of Moroccan engineering in the face of adversity. Held under the theme "Rebuilding the High Atlas: Rise of Moroccan Engineering Based on Innovation, Sustainability, and Solidarity," this three-day event brings together students, EHTP graduates, and leading companies from across Morocco and beyond.

The opening panel discussion set the tone for the forum, featuring an esteemed lineup of speakers who shared a common vision of collaborative success. Among the panelists were Mustapha Fares, Secretary General of the Ministry of Equipment and Water; Youssef Hosni, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Land Use and Urban Planning; Housni El Ghazaoui, CEO of Omrane; Abdallah Nassif, Governor of Natural Risk Management at the Ministry of Interior; Nabil Benazzouz, President of the FMCI Federation; EHTP professor Atar Dialmi; and Amine Laghidi, an international expert on foreign trade and economic diplomacy.

The panelists emphasized the critical role of engineers and the broader public in rebuilding the High Atlas region, which was devastated by the Al-Haouz earthquake in September 2023. They highlighted the country's enduring spirit of solidarity, encapsulated in the term "tamgharbit," a concept that reflects the unwavering support Moroccans show for one another in times of need.

As one of Morocco's premier recruitment events, the EHTP-Entreprises Forum serves as a platform for networking among students, EHTP graduates, and the country's most prestigious companies. This year, the focus is on the reconstruction of the High Atlas, with participating companies presenting their projects and initiatives to contribute to the region's recovery and increased resilience.

Students and young graduates have the opportunity to interact with professionals from various sectors, explore career opportunities, and showcase the skills and potential of Moroccan engineers. The event features a diverse program of activities, including company presentations, workshops, coaching sessions, and conferences led by renowned experts.

The EHTP-Entreprises Forum remains an essential event for those seeking internships, job opportunities, and valuable professional connections. It offers participants a chance to step out of their comfort zones and engage with the broader professional community, united in the goal of rebuilding the High Atlas region with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and solidarity.
