Casablanca to host women summit morocco 2026 on Atlantic Vision
Casablanca will host the fourth edition of the Women Summit Morocco on 25 and 26 June 2026, bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and public figures from across Africa. The event positions the Moroccan economic hub as a central platform for discussions on women’s empowerment, innovation and inclusive economic growth on the continent.
The summit is closely aligned with the Atlantic Initiative led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which aims to reshape Africa’s Atlantic coastline into an integrated space based on stability, connectivity, order and shared prosperity. The strategy also focuses on giving landlocked Sahel countries, including Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Chad, sovereign access to the Atlantic Ocean as part of a broader development vision for the region.
Organisers frame women’s leadership as a core driver of this transformation. The theme of the 2026 edition highlights the role of women in building sustainable and inclusive growth models across Africa. With the continent recording some of the fastest economic expansion rates globally, the integration of women into decision-making structures is presented as a structural requirement for long-term resilience rather than a social add-on.
The Women Summit Morocco has evolved into one of Africa’s key platforms dedicated to female leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation. Previous editions built momentum through high-level participation from institutional actors and private sector leaders, consolidating its position as a recurring continental meeting point for policy and business dialogue focused on gender inclusion.
This edition will feature panels on digital entrepreneurship, innovation, social impact and business climate conditions across African markets. Workshops, a youth-focused hackathon and networking sessions aim to connect emerging talent with investors and decision-makers. The program also includes discussions on governance models, entrepreneurship ecosystems and the role of women-led cooperatives in economic development.
Casablanca’s hosting of the summit reinforces its positioning as a regional hub for African dialogue on economic transformation and gender inclusion. The event is expected to bring together government representatives, business leaders and civil society actors to explore practical pathways for strengthening women’s participation in Africa’s growth trajectory, particularly within the broader Atlantic framework.
