ASMEX strengthens ties with East Africa through trade mission to Kenya
The Moroccan Exporters’ Association (ASMEX) has announced the launch of a business mission to Nairobi, Kenya, scheduled from November 10 to 14, 2025. This initiative is part of Morocco’s broader vision to reinforce economic integration across the African continent.
The mission aims to consolidate trade relations between Morocco and East Africa, with a particular focus on Kenya, which is recognized as a key economic hub in the region.
Moroccan exporters will take part in targeted B2B meetings with Kenyan stakeholders in sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, information and communication technologies, tourism, and industry.
According to ASMEX, this effort is consistent with Morocco’s strategy to expand its footprint in English-speaking Africa while supporting the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
