Al Ayashi Al Farfar's Declaration: The Challenges Facing the Moroccan Family
The Moroccan family is facing a series of major challenges, as highlighted by well-known parliamentarian Al Ayashi Al Farfar during his appearance on the "Guest by Walaw". These challenges, revolving around various social, economic, and cultural issues, represent a growing concern for Moroccan society.
Al Farfar, a member of the Independence Party, shed light on the extent of the dysfunctions affecting Moroccan families. Among these are an alarming increase in divorce rates, a growing disinterest in marriage, and cases of violence both within and outside households. These phenomena are often attributed to a weakening of traditional social values, the fragility of family ties, and a questioning of the very institution of the family. Furthermore, the resurgence of early and customary marriages exacerbates this crisis.
These alarming observations have prompted reflection on the adaptation of Morocco's 2004 Family Law. Al Farfar thus emphasizes the need for new legislation offering concrete solutions to the crisis facing Moroccan society. He insists on the crucial role of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI in the success of this new legislation, emphasizing that the sovereign is the ultimate guarantor of the success of ongoing reforms.
Additionally, the parliamentarian also addressed the increasing influence of social networks on Moroccan society. According to him, these platforms have become spaces conducive to the spread of deviant behaviors. He warns against inappropriate use of these tools, stressing that the very image of the network, symbolized by the spider, can be interpreted as a network conducive to the spread of social death.
Finally, Al Farfar discussed, in his interview with Walaw, the crisis within the Independence Party and the challenges facing the government led by Aziz Akhannouch, particularly regarding the management of the water crisis.
These statements underline the urgency of acting to address the challenges facing the Moroccan family. Legislative reforms and social measures are essential to preserve this fundamental unit of society and ensure its flourishing in a constantly changing context.
