Cancellation of Debts owed to CNSS for Non-Salaried Workers
Non-salaried workers with at least three months of unpaid contributions for the period of November 2023 and earlier can benefit from the cancellation of debts owed to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) under the mandatory basic health insurance scheme. This measure, in accordance with Law No. 41.23 of December 4, 2023, covers contributions, late penalties, and prosecution costs. Beneficiaries must commence payment of contributions from December 2023 and regularize their situation for twelve consecutive months.
