Morocco: Spain's Pivotal Strategic Partner
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares lauded Morocco as Spain's "preeminent strategic partner" during a recent forum on economic policy.
Addressing the Nueva Economía Fórum event, Albares commended the "exemplary cooperation" across various sectors, emphasizing Morocco's paramount status in Spain's foreign policy due to their deeply interconnected vital interests.
Furthermore, the minister highlighted the burgeoning economic ties, with Morocco securing its position as Spain's third-largest trade and economic partner outside the EU.
Albares also praised the collaborative efforts in combating irregular migration, human trafficking networks, and terrorist groups.
"Morocco stands as an indispensable ally for Spain on multiple fronts," he summarized. "Our strategic partnership is poised to reach new heights in the future."
