Prime Minister Akhannouch Calls for Dialogue with Education Unions: A Commitment to Educational Reform
Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister, called on Thursday for a dialogue with education unions next Monday. He emphasized the government's commitment to its obligations regarding the comprehensive reform of the education system and the motivation of the teaching staff.
Akhannouch underscored the crucial role of dialogue in finding efficient solutions to educational issues. He invited unions to a sectorial dialogue session on Monday, providing an opportunity to discuss teachers' concerns and develop concrete measures to enhance the education system.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government's commitment to the quality of public schools, considering education a fundamental pillar for building the social state and the development of Morocco, in line with the aspirations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Akhannouch highlighted the government's readiness to strengthen dialogue channels until concrete solutions are reached. He specified that the government is fully committed to implementing comprehensive educational reforms, including structural reforms to the system and motivation of teaching staff, crucial for the success of these reforms.
