"TelmidTICE" Launch: A Digital Initiative Providing Free Educational Support During Teacher Strikes
In response to recent teacher strikes, the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education, and Sports in Morocco has unveiled an innovative initiative aimed at supporting remote education. The digital platform "TelmidTICE" provides students of all academic levels with free access to nearly 12,500 digital courses for academic support.
The official announcement from the ministry emphasizes that this initiative reflects the commitment to strengthening the use of new technologies in the educational process, especially in terms of academic support to enhance students' basic skills. In a press release, the ministry highlighted that the registration and navigation process on the platform has been streamlined to ensure a smooth user experience.
The "TelmidTICE" platform stands out with intelligent content indexing, making it easy for learners to access relevant courses to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. Furthermore, it offers a course-sharing feature in line with the current national curriculum.
The diverse content on the platform includes illustrated pedagogical lessons, interactive exercises, and experimental exams, all aligned with the national curriculum. With approximately 12,500 digital resources available, including 11,000 pedagogical lessons, nearly 1,000 exercises, and over 500 exam templates, "TelmidTICE" positions itself as a comprehensive resource for online learning.
Students can access the platform via the link https://telmidtice.men.gov.ma or by downloading the mobile application from the same site. This accessibility from multimedia rooms in educational institutions or from the comfort of their homes provides flexibility to learners, promoting equal access to education even during teacher strikes. "TelmidTICE" represents a significant step towards the digitization of education, offering Moroccan students a continuous learning opportunity.
