Morocco's economy and financial sector are poised for further enhancement, as Rabat and the World Bank affirm their dedication to elevating their partnership.

During a meeting between Morocco's Finance Minister, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, and World Bank Vice President, Ferid Belhaj, both parties celebrated the productive relationship between their institutions. Fettah, in a statement, expressed appreciation for the World Bank's unwavering support of Morocco's developmental goals under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Belhaj echoed these sentiments, commending the caliber and relevance of collaborative projects and highlighting the positive and constructive nature of the long-standing ties between the Bank and Rabat.

In her remarks, Nadia Fettah thanked Belhaj for his personal commitment to strengthening the partnership, acknowledging the significant strides made in financial and institutional collaboration in recent years.

Belhaj reiterated the Bank's commitment to enhancing cooperation, particularly in the realm of social welfare initiatives. Discussions also revolved around the coordination of the upcoming World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings, which Morocco successfully hosted last year.

Belhaj emphasized that the outcomes of such gatherings reinforce multilateralism for the collective global good. He expressed satisfaction with Morocco's efforts and assured continued support from the Bank in hosting these crucial financial forums.

Through a review of successful collaborative endeavors and a shared commitment to further partnership, Morocco and the World Bank demonstrate their eagerness to deepen economic and financial cooperation for sustained developmental progress in the North African kingdom.
