Michael Cutts, the Australian Ambassador to Morocco, highlighted the strengthening ties between the two nations during a ceremony commemorating Australia Day 2024 in Rabat. Addressing the event, Cutts emphasized the robust collaboration between Moroccan and Australian enterprises, united in their pursuit of ambitious energy transition goals and decarbonization initiatives.

Leila Benali, Morocco's Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, echoed Cutts' sentiments, emphasizing that the celebration was an opportune moment to reiterate the excellence of diplomatic, commercial, and cultural relations between Morocco and Australia. Benali lauded the successful and ever-growing partnerships between Rabat and Canberra, underscoring Morocco's integration into global energy markets as a pivotal factor in this collaborative endeavor.
