Unveiling Morocco's Digital Dawn: Ambitious Program to Connect 1,800 Rural Areas
In an ambitious stride towards bridging the digital divide, Ghita Mezzour, the Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, unveiled an audacious new program that aims to bring internet connectivity to 1,800 rural zones across Morocco in the coming months. This groundbreaking initiative forms the second phase of the National Plan for the Development of High and Very High-Speed Broadband.
During a parliamentary session dedicated to oral questions at the House of Representatives, Mezzour shed light on the Ministry's unwavering commitment to digitalization, citing the ongoing implementation of the first phase of the National Plan.
