BAC 2024: Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region Achieves Remarkable 81.05% Overall Success Rate

The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (RSK) Regional Academy of Education and Training has announced an outstanding 81.05% overall success rate among candidates enrolled for the 2024 national unified baccalaureate exam (ordinary session), marking a significant increase from the 72.49% rate recorded in 2023.

According to a statement issued by the Regional Academy, a total of 40,135 candidates successfully passed the ordinary session of the 2024 baccalaureate in the region. This number includes 32,241 students enrolled in public education institutions and 8,205 in private establishments. Additionally, independent candidates who achieved success in this session across the region numbered 9,839, reflecting a commendable 58.67% success rate.

Delving into the provincial breakdown of successful candidates within the RSK region, the Rabat provincial directorate recorded the success of 5,297 candidates, achieving a remarkable 78.17% success rate. Skhirat-Temara followed with 5,868 successful candidates and a 77.24% rate. Salé province reported 8,448 successful candidates (76.00%), Khemisset 4,283 (83.62%), Kénitra 8,087 (80.72%), Sidi Kacem 5,711 (93.88%), and Sidi-Slimane 2,441 (91.73%).

Notably, the Regional Academy provided special considerations for candidates with disabilities, adapting examination conditions and grading procedures to accommodate their needs. Consequently, 533 out of 638 candidates with disabilities successfully obtained their baccalaureate during the ordinary session, reflecting an impressive 83.54% success rate.

Furthermore, within the penitentiary system, 224 candidates took the exam, with 127 achieving success, marking a commendable 57% success rate.

The Regional Academy announced that a total of 15,822 candidates, including 9,036 enrolled students, will participate in the catch-up session scheduled from July 10 to 13.

On this occasion, the AREF-RSK commended the concerted efforts of the education and training community, local authorities, security and health services, and all stakeholders involved in ensuring the successful organization and full credibility of this national milestone. The Academy called for continued efforts to ensure the success of the catch-up session.

Additionally, the Regional Academy extended its gratitude to all teaching staff, pedagogical management bodies, Academy and regional directorate personnel, as well as all actors and partners from the Territorial Administration, National Security, Royal Gendarmerie, Auxiliary Forces, Civil Protection, government sectors, civil society associations, and parent-teacher associations for their unwavering dedication and sacrifices in making this pivotal stage a success in the lives of Moroccan students.
