Vivo Energy Maroc promotes inclusion through football tournament with Naybet

Vivo Energy Maroc has organized a solidarity football tournament in Casablanca aimed at promoting social inclusion among young people. The initiative, titled “B’9loubna Rab7ine,” brings together beneficiaries of the Second Chance School New Generation program from L’Heure Joyeuse and children of company employees. The event took place at the Ba M’hammed pitch in the Sbata district on 14 May 2025.

The tournament forms part of the company’s broader social responsibility strategy focused on education, health, and youth development. Mixed teams were created to encourage interaction between participants aged 14 to 16. The format places emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and fair play in a competitive but educational environment designed to strengthen social bonds.

The event was held close to the educational center involved in the program and included participation from several stakeholders in the initiative. Former Moroccan international footballer Noureddine Naybet attended as ambassador of the brand, offering symbolic support to the participants. His presence was intended to reinforce messages of perseverance, confidence, and personal development among adolescents in vulnerable educational situations.

Preparation for the tournament included selection phases held on 29 April and 6 May, involving 110 young participants. The competition progressed toward semi finals and a final match, structured to maximize engagement and encourage positive interaction between all teams. Organizers emphasized the importance of creating a safe and motivating space for youth through sport.

Speakers from the organizing institutions underlined the role of football as a tool for inclusion beyond formal education. Representatives highlighted that the initiative reflects long standing cooperation between Vivo Energy Maroc and L’Heure Joyeuse since 2002. They also stressed that the presence of public figures in such initiatives strengthens the impact of youth programs by connecting aspiration with real opportunity.
