Vivo Energy Maroc and Injaz Al-Maghrib renew partnership to foster youth entrepreneurship

Vivo Energy Maroc has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Moroccan youth by renewing its longstanding partnership with Injaz Al-Maghrib. A new agreement, spanning from 2025 to 2027, was signed on October 24, 2025, strengthening their collaboration to cultivate entrepreneurial and civic skills among students through educational programs and skill-based volunteering.

This partnership, which began in 2009, has significantly contributed to youth development across Morocco. Over 16 years, the collaboration has supported the training of more than 250,000 young people, the establishment of 300 junior enterprises, and the active involvement of 170 Vivo Energy Maroc employees as volunteer mentors.

Supporting entrepreneurship through action

The renewed agreement centers on the "Company Program," Injaz Al-Maghrib’s flagship initiative that introduces high school and university students to entrepreneurship by guiding them through the creation and management of real businesses. Vivo Energy Maroc will also participate in other educational and innovation-focused initiatives led by the association.

A key element of the partnership is skill-based volunteering. Vivo Energy Maroc employees serve as mentors, offering their professional expertise to support students in developing entrepreneurial projects and gaining practical knowledge. This hands-on guidance is fundamental to equipping young people with the tools and confidence to succeed.

A shared ambition for Morocco’s youth

Matthias de Larminat, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Maroc, emphasized the importance of the collaboration: “Our historic partnership with Injaz Al-Maghrib reflects our enduring commitment to Moroccan youth. We believe education and entrepreneurship are powerful drivers of inclusion and personal development. The dedication of our employees as mentors is a source of pride and demonstrates our collective determination to shape a better future.”

Injaz Al-Maghrib President Wafaa Joundy highlighted the alignment of both organizations’ goals: “Renewing our partnership confirms the strength of our relationship with Vivo Energy Maroc. Together, we aim to provide Moroccan youth with the skills to build their confidence and ensure a smooth transition into the professional world.”

Transforming ideas into reality

The tangible impact of this partnership is evident in the success stories of participants. Abir Aman, a 2025 graduate of the Company Program, shared her experience: “Participating in the program allowed me to turn an idea into a concrete project. With Saferide, we developed a technological solution to enhance road safety. The support from Injaz Al-Maghrib and Vivo Energy Maroc mentors taught me to believe in my potential and see entrepreneurship as a powerful tool for change.”

By renewing its partnership with Injaz Al-Maghrib, Vivo Energy Maroc underscores its commitment to advancing Morocco’s human development and fostering a generation of responsible, entrepreneurial youth. This initiative aligns with the company’s broader corporate responsibility efforts centered on education, renewable energy, and road safety.
