Moroccan Private Sector Reaffirms Commitment to Africa's Progress
In a resounding affirmation of Morocco's unwavering dedication to fostering Africa's development, the private sector has taken center stage, reinforcing its crucial role in the co-development and progress of the continent. This commitment was articulated by Chakib Alj, President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), during the CEO Forum Africa held in Kigali.
Aligning with the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Alj underscored the imperative for Moroccan enterprises to exemplify resilience, innovation, and exemplary practices as they accompany the nation's positive dynamics. Under the visionary leadership of His Majesty the King, Morocco has undertaken concrete measures to promote sustainable development, Alj affirmed. Chief among these is the National Energy Strategy of 2009, which positions the Kingdom as a major player in the burgeoning green hydrogen sector.
