Prosus considers selling part of its delivery hero stake

Dutch technology investor Prosus is reportedly exploring the possibility of selling a portion of its stake in the German food delivery company Delivery Hero. According to sources familiar with the matter, the company is considering offloading approximately 10% of its shares to Hong Kong-based investment firm Aspex Management.

Prosus, one of the largest investors in the global technology sector, currently holds a significant position in Delivery Hero, making it the company’s largest shareholder. The potential transaction reflects a broader strategy by Prosus to optimize its investment portfolio and potentially unlock value from its existing assets.

While discussions are said to be ongoing, no final agreement has been reached, and the deal remains subject to market conditions and regulatory considerations. If completed, the sale could have implications for Delivery Hero’s shareholder structure and may signal shifting priorities within Prosus’ investment approach.

Market analysts suggest that such a move could provide Prosus with additional liquidity, allowing it to pursue new opportunities or strengthen its financial position amid evolving global economic conditions.

Neither Prosus nor Aspex Management has officially confirmed the reported negotiations.
