Google has officially stepped into AI-assisted online commerce with the launch of a new professional version of its generative artificial intelligence model, Gemini, aiming to reshape how consumers search for products, make purchases, and interact with customer service.

The updated Gemini platform allows users to complete the entire shopping journey without leaving the application. Consumers can search for products, receive personalized recommendations, finalize purchases, and communicate with retailers’ customer support through a single interface.
