Chinese robotics company Unitree Technology is expected to reach a valuation of more than 50 billion yuan ($7.4 billion) following its planned initial public offering in Shanghai, according to a report from IPO sponsor Citic Securities shared with institutional investors.

The projected valuation highlights growing investor enthusiasm for China’s robotics sector, as demand for artificial intelligence-powered machines and automation technologies continues to accelerate across industrial and consumer markets.

Robotics company targets major market debut

Unitree Technology, known for developing advanced robotic systems including quadruped and humanoid platforms, is preparing for its Shanghai listing as it seeks to raise capital and expand its presence in the rapidly evolving robotics industry.

Citic Securities’ valuation estimate was released ahead of the company’s IPO price inquiry process, giving investors an early indication of the expected market capitalization.
